It’s that time of the year again — returning to old/new routines. One of them being work, college, and school. I love a good and organized routine! And call me shallow but I love it even more if it means buying a new bag.
A bag can make or break every outfit. The right bag will, of course, make it, plus it will hold all of your stuff. So yeah, I’d say justifying buying a bag is easy, but only if you already don’t have the right one. I curated a list of bags from high-street brands that I would go for. My requirements were that the bag is pretty, affordable, and big. The last one may be the most important since you will probably carry a lot of things.
I aimed for black, burgundy, and green colored bags since I think they will be IT colors for this fall. Plus, I like the look of ‘baggy’, casual, and ‘just throw it on’ bags. To me, it looks so cool. That said, I was pleasantly surprised with Pull & Bear’s collection of bags that matched my description. I would single out the Faux leather shopper bag for 24,99€ and the Nylon shopper bag with a decorative pendant for 22,99€ which you can also customize. It’s available in many colors and I would even say it’s a dupe for Longchamp’s La Pliage bag.
Next up, Zara. My favorite bags are the Maxi bucket bag for 29,95€ and this cow print Satin-effect shopper bag for 25,95€ (I love cow prints at the moment). Stradivarius has some nice options too. Faux leather bag, available in burgundy and black, for 22,99€. Unfortunately, the one I saw a month ago is not available anymore and it was my favorite… I will put up a picture so, if you want, you can look for it on Vinted or other second-hand platforms.
Lastly, I will point out one from Zalando. The brand is Anna Field, and it’s suede, baggy, and khaki = perfect. It’s 49,77€ and it comes in more colors!
This was my wishlist of high-street brand bags for fall 2024. All of them are big, thus perfect for the working/studying season. Soon I will write about my designer bags wishlist, but other than that try searching for similar bags on Vinted and other second-hand platforms. Bonus points if you find vintage and 100% genuine leather ones.
