In my September wishlist a couple of posts ago, I mentioned the Mini Zoo Berlin glasses. They are beautiful but quite expensive. The set of six glasses costs 108€, which is about 18€ per glass. Although they are often on sale for around 65€, 11€ is still a lot for one glass, not to mention the additional 10-15€ for shipping. Luckily, I found a (almost) dupe at Sinsay!
Lately, Sinsay has had many great items, especially for the home. When I saw these glass mugs, they reminded me a lot of the ones from Mini Zoo, so I had to get them! There are 4 types/animals: Snail, Panda, Fox, and Ghost. Each mug costs 4.5€, so a set of 4 would be 18€ (the same price as one Mini Zoo Berlin glass). I ordered online three of them, since they are only available for online orders, and picked them up in a store. They were packed very thoughtfully. Each mug was wrapped in two layers of paper, placed in a individual box, and wrapped again in textured paper, so everything arrived intact. They look the same as the pictures and are even better quality than I thought. Despite some reviews mentioning that the glass is a bit thin, I have to disagree. It’s of normal thickness and, as far as I can tell, it’s real glass. I love that it’s a larger glass, with a volume of 440 ml. It’s freezer and oven-safe. Well, since this is a mug, it should hold hot liquids, so you can drink coffee from it! It doesn’t say if it’s dishwasher safe, but I would bet it is.
You should definitely run to Sinsay because these glass mugs are amazing! I’m enjoying my coffee much more 🙂 And I also think they make the perfect gift for any occasion and anyone!
