Who doesn’t like a good perfume, right? But I think we all appreciate it a little more when it’s affordable. I mean, we all have ‘everyday’ and ‘special’ perfumes, don’t we? Because I certainly have them. My everyday perfume is the one I wouldn’t say I like paying a lot for since I’ll use it daily and run out of it quickly.
Honestly, I think most perfumes smell nice (I mean they are perfumes for a reason), so when choosing one, that is not my main criterion. What I look for in a perfume is usually longevity. And that becomes a problem when you don’t want to pay a lot. Cheaper perfumes are usually not that long-lasting. My absolute favorite ‘special’ perfume is La Vie Est Belle from Lancôme, and a few months ago, I found a favorite ‘everyday’ perfume (even perfumes) too! And they fit all of my criteria!
I didn’t understand the Zara perfume craze, but I do now. I did some research, for my sister actually, and decided to test Zara perfumes. When they met all of my expectations, I was pleasantly surprised and bought one for myself as well. I came to one big conclusion: the best ones are in tall cylindrical bottles (as in pictures). And you won’t miss whichever you take from that line. I think your best option is to get the Travel set of perfumes 4x30ML for 25.95€. If you do the maths, you’ll see that you get 120ML for 26€, which is an AMAZING price. Even better, you get to try 4 of their essential scents. This way I discovered my favorite smell: the Sublime Epoque. I don’t know how to describe perfumes, but all I can say is that I got complimented every time I wore it. “You smell great!” and “What perfume is that?”. Oh yeah, and I would say this one is more of a winter perfume. Its price is 19.95€ for 80ML and 9.95€ for 30ML. Of course, I take the bigger packaging, but both are great prices, especially for what you get!
I went through some TikToks and analyzed which smell the public likes the best, so you don’t have to. This is what I found out. Most of the recommendations were for: Rose Gourmand, Supreme Vanilla, Red Temptation (Elixir), Sublime Epoque, and Golden Decade! The great thing is that all of them are in the Travel set I mentioned. I also found out that some of them are good dupes. Red Temptation is a dupe for Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540, Rose Gourmand for Montale Intense Cafe, and Golden Decade for YSL Libre. So, if you’re looking for some good and affordable perfumes, I strongly suggest you start with these!
