Another almost Halloween day means another blog post about easy and great costume ideas! This time, couples costumes are up. Grab your man, and discuss what you’re going as (from this list of course). To share some quick wisdom with you: cherish a man who dresses up with you (for Halloween). It’s a green flag. And if he’s willing to DIY you pink cat ears — marry him. Then, after you’re done marying look at this couples costume ideas I put together!
Pink Panther and Detective
The girl goes as a hot cat and the boy as a handsome detective. It’s a win-win. The Pink Panther look consists of a pink base, like a baby tee and yoga pants. You can easily DIY pink cat ears using pipe cleaners and buy a tail from a local store or online. Pair the outfit with pink ballet flats or something similar. The Detective look is pretty easy — black jeans, a white button-up, and a coat. Grab your fanciest hat and shoes, and tie everything together with a tie! Magnifying glass (and maybe even a pipe) is for extra points.
Ratatouille (Remy and Linguini)
Ratatouille is a cult (animated) movie, and you’ll have an iconic Halloween costume if you dress up as Remy (rat) and Linguini (chef). For Remy, wear a grey long-sleeve shirt, skirt, and knee-high socks. Pink details should be ears, tail, and feet (ballet flats). Chef costume is already a classic, get your hands on the chef’s hat and jacket then pair them with white pants and black sneakers. Don’t forget a wooden spoon for extra points!
Popeye and Olive
Another iconic animated couple costume is Popeye and Olive. After you (male) get pumped in the gym, put on a black short-sleeve button-up with blue jeans and brown shoes. Add a captain hat, a pipe, and a red bandana around your neck. Olive’s costume is even easier, wear a red long-sleeve shirt and a black satin midi skirt. Pair them with brown boots with ruffled socks. Tie your hair in two low buns to complete the look.
Jack and Coke
If you’re a fan of Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola, consider going as Jack & Coke. This is the easiest costume idea of all. You just need T-shirts with the Coca-Cola and Jack Daniel’s logos. Pair the Coke T-shirt with all red, a skirt, and cowboy boots, and the Jack T-shirt with all black, jeans, and sneakers.
