Crafts night: DIY Felt Ornaments

This year, I came across several DIY felt ornaments on my TikTok. It’s safe to say I loved them and immediately wanted to make them for our Christmas tree. My youngest sister, my mom, and I are quite creative and enjoy crafting, so I thought I’d get the whole family on it, including my other sister and dad. I organized a felt ornament-making night.

I got most of the supplies at Tedi, so they were cheap.  What you’ll need is felt,  embroidery floss, needles, sequins, beads, toy stuffing (or cotton wool), and most importantly inspiration pictures. From that it’s easy, you cut two felt pieces of your design, decorate it with beads, and then sew two pieces together while stuffing it. My biggest advice is to cut felt much bigger than you think. Overall, it was a cute evening, some enjoyed it more than others. I would say it takes much more time than we anticipated. We were crafting for 3 hours and managed to do one ornament each (I did three but I had some practice before).
