DIY Christmas gifts: What I made

I’m so happy that I can finally share what I gifted my friends and family. You heard it right — I do believe in handmade gift supremacy, so I DIYed most of the gifts for this year! I won’t talk a lot, I’ll just show you, so maybe save these as ideas for next year.

Felt fortune cookies

Cut circles out of thicker felt. Fold in half and sew down the middle, halfway. Fold into a fortune cookie. On small paper rectangles write personalized messages. I went for:

  • Everything will fall into place.
  • You must always know what it is that you want.
  • There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.

Felt ornaments

On my TikTok and Instagram posts, I shared a few ideas for felt ornaments. They’re pretty easy to make: cut out the desired shape, bedazzle it, and sew two sides together.

Rope keychain/bag charm

Maybe my favorite thing! It looks like a little man. This idea popped up on my Instagram and I just copied the steps.

Felt bookmarks

Get creative with it. You can craft right about ANYTHING.

Emergency kit for her

You may remember my emergency kit from Barkley’s Tin – which I love. Thus I decided to gift it to my friends but in small pouches. Each pouch has personalized charms and straps. Inside you can find: bobby pins, hair tie, hair clip, nail file, pen, and bandaids.

Emergency kit for him

It’s almost the same as the one for her but inside are foldable scissors, pen, and bandaids.

Keychain Juicy bomb

And finally, I pierced through Essence’s Jucy bomb to make it into a keychain.
